Meet Elliot...our snowman.

When Lauren and I woke up this morning, this is what we saw:

 

 

This is Elliot, our snowman. Lauren and I made him after lunch today. Some complete stranger was throwing snowballs at us the whole time. (How rude?!) We informed him that we weren't out there to play with him. We were on a mission to build a snowman.

 

 

Today is just going to be full of fun :-). I'm working on a hat, the pattern is here on Elsie's blog.

Oh Happy Day

It's SNOWING!! :-) I'm so happy, my roomies and I are going to make a snowman. ANNNND possibly some snow ice cream! Yay. I'll be back later with some snow fun pictures!

Wishlist

I'm so excited about moving into my new house in just a few months! I've been perusing Etsy, and thrift stores to find cool decor. Here are a few of my fav's on Etsy!

These fabulous wall hangings in OtherSuchNonsense's Etsy shop. I would love to hang a few of these together on a blank wall in the den or kitchen!

Lame Lines and Valentines

So, I love my boyfriend to pieces.

He's my favorite person in the whole wide world. However, he is the king of lame and/or disgusting lines. He's a guy that loves bodily functions. If you ever meet him, he is that guy that will ask you to pull his finger. Luckily, I'm a big fan of lameness :-) it's my favorite...and I'm unaffected by disguting bodily functions. SOOO, in honor of my love's lame lines, I have compiled a list of lame pick up lines from various sources around the internet. I'm making him several homemade valentine's this year and each one is going to have a lame line :-).

1. Can I borrow your library card? 'Cause I'm checkin' you out

2. If you were a booger, I'd pick you first.

3. Are you a parking ticket? 'Cause you've got "fine" written all over you.

4. If I had a penny for my thoughts, I'd have one penny because all I think about is you.

5. My love for you is like diarrhea. I just can't hold it in.

Just for the record, I have some kind of romantic ones that are actually serious. I just think these are so much more fun.

Summertime.

Today, I wish it was summer. Really, everyday I wish it was summer. I live for those 3-4 months of summer. I don't have any scientific proof but I will testify...I am noticeably happier in the summertime. lol Anyways, when I start missing my favorite season, I start to look through my pictures and it makes me happy.  I think in my bedroom, I'm going to have a wall of summertime pictures to put me in a good mood. This boy came to visit me last night.
It made me sooo happy. Mandy and Brand came too. I was excited; I got to show Mandy around the house...it took all of about 30 seconds because there's not that much to show. Brand worked on my furnace. Unfortunately, he didn't get it done. (Secretly that makes me a little happy though, because maybe they'll make another trip up here :-) I love getting visits in Conway. I can't wait to get moved in...I dreamed about it last night. Josh is getting ready to put tile in my kitchen and bathrooms...what a great boyfriend! He's my hero. Well, I'm headed to Wal-mart with my roomies. I'll be back later hopefully with a finished project to show off. Here's a summertime playlist for your inspiration :-)
